PAIR AMERICAN EMPIRE MAHOGANY AND PLUM PUDDING MAHOGANY WARDROBES, 19th century, probably Baltimore. Pediment has urn-topped crown over cove-molded plain frieze; recessed-panel doors opening to fitted interiors with pull-out shelving, drawers and open shelving; ring-turned feet - 80 1/2 in. x 45 3/4 in. x 25 1/2 in.

PROVENANCE: An historic Eastern Shore of Maryland farm, dating to 1648

Good Condition; with some light shrinkage to sides; one opens to fourteen shelves, other fitted with pull-out shelving above lower two alighted and three long drawers
