AMERICAN QUEEN ANNE MAPLE HIGHBOY, 18th century, in two parts. Swan's neck molded broken pediment crest with flame-carved urn finial; central fan-carved drawer front with two aligned smaller drawers above four graduated long drawers; lower case has two long drawers, the lower drawer simulating three aligned short drawers; pendant drops; cabriole legs end in spoon feet - 82 1/2 in. x 39 1/4 in. x 19 1/2 in.
Estimate $1,800-2,200

A more accurate date should read 20th century, composed of older parts, with replaced hardware on this fine well-made chest. Good overall condition, with desirable tortoise-like finish and non-glossy shine.
