AUSTRIAN GILT-BRONZE INKWELL BY FRANZ BERGMAN, Circa 1900; Geschutzt and Bergman mark (B within amphora). The inkwell modelled as an owl, with hinged neck (without glass liner); perched on a plume pen tray - 5 1/4 in. high x 15 in. long.

Rubbed gilding throughout. The top if the pen tray with scattered burnishing.
