GEORGE II SILVER COFFEE POT, William Shaw II and William Preist, London, 1750. Tapering cylindrical form, on stepped circular foot, with chased armorial crest; foliate capped spout; C-scroll wooden handle; hinged cover - 30 oz., 8 dwt.; 10 3/4 in. high.
Estimate $1,500-2,000

Marks and armorial crisp. The pin is missing at the hinged cover. There are tiny shallow dents on the body. There is a repair on the underside of the foot - solder is visible. The handle is tight at the joints.
