GEORGE III SILVER LEMON STRAINER. SM maker's mark possibly for Samuel Meriton II, probably London, Circa 1780. Circular, pierced bowl; the rim featuring two chased armorial crests; cast shaped handles - 4 oz.; 4 1/4 in. diam.; 9 1/2 in. long.
Estimate $400-600

Marks on handle are partially rubbed but legible; additional marks are located on the center of the bowl; they are illegible due to the strainer holes. In overall excellent condition - no dents, splits or repairs.
