AUSTRIAN ART NOUVEAU PORCELAIN FIGURAL CENTERPIECE BY RIESSNER, STELLMACHER & KESSEL, Circa 1899-1905; impressed Amphora mark, stamped Turn-Teplitz Bohemia RStK Made in Austria; E. Stellmacher signature. Modelled as an Art Nouveau maiden in flowing blue gown, holding blooming poppies; surrounded by a generous deep dish, accented along the rim with female heads - 28 1/2 in. high.

In overall excellent condition - without significant chips or repairs. This piece was kept in a closet for many years thus there is some surface grime and dust. One of the female heads along the basin has a hairline running from her forehead through her eye and into her cheek. The top poppy has scattered fleabites along the edges. The piece was modelled with small holes throughout indicating it was meant to have other applied pieces on it such as a garland or individual flowers.
