TWO THAI RATTANAKOSIN-STYLE GILT BRONZE FIGURES OF BUDDHA, Chakri Dynasty (1782- ), Bangkok Period., 19th century. One seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne above the coiled seven headed serpent rising above his head to form a hood cast separately and fitted on the back; the other standing in samapada on a stepped lotus plinth with both hands in abhaya mudra wearing a shanghati flaring at the sides and cast with flower-heads and foliage - Larger: 15 in. high.
