NOTE: "Ape" and "Spy" (Sir Leslie Ward- 1851-1922) were the most famous and appreciated caricaturists, both of whom appeared in the long-running and very popular English periodical, "Vanity Fair." The "Ape" watercolors upon which many of the lithographs were based, have brought between $1,000 and $4,000.
