KPM PORCELAIN PLAQUE, Mid-19th century; impressed sceptre and KPM marks. Depicting "Beggar Boys Eating Grapes and Melon" after Murillo. The reverse with paper label detailing provenance, and stencilled inscribed for the dealer "Henry Wimmer's Gallery of Fine Arts, Munich." Framed - 15 3/4 in. x 13 3/4 in., plaque; 23 3/4 in. x 21 1/2 in., total size.

PROVENANCE: Mr. Edmund Burke Benjamin, purchased in London, 1870 then by descent through the family. Presented to The Washington Club, Washington, DC by Mrs. Marcus Benjamin, January, 1933

This plaque is in excellent condition - without chips, hairlines, crazing or repairs.
