AFTER CARL KAUBA, (Austria, 1865-1922). Dancer, Gilt-bronze, on green marble bowl. Modelled as a dancer holding castanets, hinged costume opening to reveal nude form. Stamped "Made in Austria".

- 12 3/4 in. high.

This is without signature or foundry mark. The leather lining of the dress is very dry, cracked and with losses. There is rubbed gilding along the body allover notably across the stomach and hips. The dress also has rubbed patination allover. There is a fleabite along the rim of the marble bowl.
