ENGLISH EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY AND OTHER WOOD DISPLAY CABINET,19th century. Broken scrolling arch pediment with floral inlaid roundel terminals, over reeded frieze with gilt highlights; case has stepped-back upper portion with canted sides and mullioned glazed doors; inlay throughout; lower portion has central drawer over bird-and-floral marquetry paneled doors centered by open shelves; turned feet. Inlaid with over twenty separate types of wood.

Castlemartyr House was granted to Sir Walter Raleigh and then acquired by the first earl of Cork, It was sold early in the 20th century to the Arnott family; then became a Carmelite college now forms the nucleus of a luxury hotel resort.
