ANONYMOUS (Japanese, Edo Period). Battle of Sekigahara and the Osaka Winter and Summer Campaigns, Pair of six-fold screens, ink and color on paper.. Accompanied by a 63-page handwritten booklet translated from Japanese in June 1951, entitled "Biographies of Daimyo and Generals Who Concerned [sic] to the Battle of Sekigahara and the Osaka Winter and Summer Campaigns". The booklet includes a brief chronological table (from 1540 to 1640 A.D.) of the battle and details of each figure depicted in the two screens. - Each panel: 68 1/4 in. x 25 in.

Paper peeling along the bottom of the borders. Surface dirt and debris, scattered areas of losses. Evidence of wear at hinges. Scattered area of superficial scratches to paper.
