AFRICAN YAKA POLYCHROME WOOD MASK. Dynamic initiation "nkisi" mask carved in light wood with face bearing large upturned nose, and toothy mouth all within an oval recessed niche. Above a tall headdress of painted fabric stretched around a wood framework, the typical spikes fastened to the central stem. Painted green, red, white and black.
