EXCEPTIONALLY FINE AND RARE FLINTLOCK PISTOL 1760-1790 OF THE LIEGE SCHOOL. Outstanding ornamentation, inlay and carving on a pistol crafted for nobility. Appears to be unfired and made as a presentation piece now with associated stand. Barrel appears to be brass with possible gold inlay on the lock plate. Estimate $1,500-2,000
Overall condition is excellent with a well done repair to the pistol grip. Repair was to crack which probably resulted when firearm was dropped in its past and pistol butt broke off.
