BURLWOOD FRAMED LITHOGRAPH, SIEGE & BOMBARDMENT OF SEBASTOPOL, TAKEN FROM SKETCHES, published late 19th century. A. MacClure, lithographer. Handcolored lithograph entitled Siege & Bombardment of Sebastopol, taken from Sketches by an Artillery Officer, drawn and lithographed by A. Maclure; Published by Maclure, MacDonald & MacGregor,lithographers to the Queen. The Siege of Sebastopol lasted from October 1854 until September 1855, during the Crimean War. Framed in burlwood frame with gilt filet. - Framed 26 5/8 in. high x 40 5/8 in. wide. Sight: 9 3/4 in. high x 33 3/4 in. wide.
Estimate $175-225

Not inspected out of frame, though there are some areas of minor discoloration to the lithograph by sight. There are no visible tears or creases. Minor wear to frame associated with use. The glass is intact.
