LOUIS XV/SVI STYLE GILT BRONZE AND PORCELAIN MANTLE CLOCK , Late 19th Century, Marked Etarlissement de Paris, Mirdy Freres, 4524. Horizontal rectangular case supports pair putti with floral garland centering flowering urn, above circular clock face surmounted by ram's head and flanked by pair Celeste blue painted panels with reserves enclosing polychrome-painted putti with garlands; case ornately cast throughout with flowerheads, leaves, masks, scrolls, and swag decoration; raised on leafy toupee feet; key-wind, striking movement. - H: 18 1/2 in.; W; 25 in.; L: 7 1/4 in.
