FRENCH GLAZED POTTERY COVERED TUREEN WITH TWO MATCHING CANDLESTICKS BY PICHON,Late 19th Century. Incised to base, Pichon & Uzes. Consisting of a covered tureen with two handles, with two matching candlesticks having reeded columns. - Tureen: 9 1/2" high. Candlesticks: 11 1/4" high. Estimate $250-350
Crazing associated with age. Hair line to base of tureen and outside of rim near handle. Three 1/4" chips to rim and base of the tureen. Several areas of irregularity to glaze to the cover of the tureen, as well as 1/4" chip to the underside of the rim of the cover. Two candlesticks have openings for wiring, one of the candlesticks has plaster added to inside of candleholder and the glaze is a bit darker to one of the candlesticks.
