GEORGE II STYLE WALNUT ARM CHAIR WITH TAPESTRY UPHOLSTERY IN THE CHIPPENDALE TASTE, circa 1840. Chair having a square back with rounded crest, over a trapizoidal seat; shaped arms ending in carved handrests. Raised on legs having carved knees and ending in ball and claw feet. Upholstered in recent tapestry with brass nailhead trim. - 40 3/4" high x 28 1/8" wide x 26" deep.
