ENGLISH LEATHER FIRE BUCKET,19th Century. Of cylindrical form with bands to the top and bottom and swing handle, the front having heraldic coat of arms and embossed with the letter N. Interior is lined with aged linen. Underside embossed with No. 63, V & BHG Ltd. - 15 3/4" high x 7" diameter at base. Estimate $100-150
Leather is distressed, with various dents and abrasions. Area on back at seam where leather has separated from the shell, restorable. Wear to the painted coat of arms. Linen to interior is intact with no tears, etc. One of the wooden pegs on the underside is missing.
