EDWARDIAN OAK SMOKING/GAME BOX,Early 20th Century. Rectangular box having two door panels opening to three drawers and compartment. Door panels having brass shields which open to locks, as plaques, centered by arched moulding. Drawers having hinged pulls. One of the door panels having a match holder to the interior and compartment having a mounted cigar cutter. Accompanied by a leather cigar case. - 13" high x 12" wide x 9 1/8" deep. Estimate $200-300
A bit of misalignment to right side of case where top is attached. Areas of moulding absent from door panels to front. The compartment to interior is lacking inserts. Old repair to one of the pulls to the lower drawer on left has failed requiring restoration. Minor wear and abrasions associated with age throughout. Minor split to lower front of the base, though minor. Structurally sound throughout. No key is present with this box.
