KITTINGER ROSEWOOD WRITING DESK WITH BRASS GALLERY IN THE REGENCY STYLE, 20th Century. Marked to center drawer, Kittinger, Buffalo. Rectangular top having a brass gallery, over three inlaid drawers with brass knob pulls: a long drawer centered by two short drawers. Raised on brass and copper base with x-form supports and stretcher, legs ending in paw feet. - 29 1/8" high to top of writing surface x 46 3/4" wide x 20 7/8" deep.

Sunfading throughout though it is consistent. Some areas of loss to veneer to drawer fronts, as follows: Left drawer, 1 1/4" area of loss to veneer upper left front corner of drawer and 2 3/8" area of loss to veneer lower right. Middle drawer, 1" area of loss to drawer front, lower right corner. Right drawer, 1/4" area of loss to veneer lower left corner. Top has one minor area of indentation associated with having something heavy placed on it over time. The copper and brass base has darkened.The desk is structurally sound.
