Flag with forty-three stars on faded blue ground and seven red and seven white stripes; single star appliqued to uppermost red stripe. Reverse: strip-pieced red and cream rectangles in staggered arrangement with embroidered red figures and flowers and foliage on cream rectangles. Cream outer border with allover embroidered flowers and plants flanked by solid red bands at top and bottom. - Mounted on wooden stretcher at one end. Estimate $500-700
