First edition of Che Guevara's influential manual of guerrilla warfare, his first book -- signed and inscribed by the author in ink on the front free endpaper. Beautifully preserved copy in the publisher's pictorial wrappers. This book was written right after the initial success of the Cuban Revolution. In part, it is Che Guevara's analysis of that struggle. But as a manual of similar action for leftist revolutionaries, it has been widely studied and influential throught the world, both on the left and on the right. Not many copies of this original edition remain in such fresh condition. The author's inscription makes this one all the more special.
