19TH CENTURY OAK WELSH DRESSER WITH PLATE RACK, 19th Century. Oak welsh dresser in two parts. The top with plate rack shelves flanked by two paneled doors opening to one shelf over one drawer. The lower stand with three drawers, the top is string inlaid, the apron with star form inlay. Paneled sides to both ends of the lower stand. - 80 7/8" high x 73 3/4" wide x 22 1/4" deep.
Estimate $800-1,200

Old split to the top which runs the length of the top about 3" from the back edge. Two holes to top where pegs fastened the top to base. Some old darkened waterstains to top of base. One of the pulls to the drawers is incomplete. Piece is a little dry, with associated separation of veneer to inlay.
