THREE PIECES OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFERWARE DEPICTING THE ERIE CANAL, Circa 1820's. All are marked to base. Three pieces, consisting of a large transferware pitcher marked to base, Views of the Erie Canal, 8 5/8" high; a basin marked to base Entrance of the Erie Canal into the Hudson at Albany, 4 3/8" high x 12 1/4" diameter; and a shallow bowl, marked Erie Canal View of the Aqueduct Bridge at Little Falls, 10 1/4" diameter. Old repairs to all pieces. Areas of overpainting to the pitcher, but no noticeable gluing repairs related to significant breaks. Old glue repairs to both of the bowls.
