AUSTRALIAN VICTORIAN SILVER MOUNTED NATURAL BIRD EGG, TABLE-TOP SEWING BOX, late 19th century. Circa 1875-1880. Probably Cassowary egg. Hall-marked on base edge. Fully sculpted birds perched on flowering branches; egg raised on base of sclupted trees. - H: 8 in.
