NOTE: The artist, whose grandmother was Anna Catherine Reigart, stayed with the Diffenderffer family when in Baltimore to paint portraits of prominent Baltimore citizens. Eleven portraits by Eichholtz are in the Smithsonian (National Portrait Gallery) Collection, Washington, DC.
