Rakan-ji at Yabakei in Oita Prefecture in the Rain (Ame no Yabakei, Rakan-ji), 1935, Woodcut depicts a slice of the roof and the bell tower of Rokan-ji temple in the rain. Artist Hiratsuka was a leading figure in the sosaku hanga movement. Pencil titled, signed and dated at base (plus there is an artist seal or stamp lower right hand corner). Framed.
