BETTINE MARGALIT (Israeli, 1931 - 2008). TWO WORKS: UNTITLED, 1967, Watercolor and gouache on paper. Signed "Bettine" and dated "67" at lower right-hand corner. Works were likely acquired at the artist's 1967 solo exhibition "Exposition of New Works " at "Gallery 220" in Tel Aviv (Israel). Framed together. Not examined out of frame.

ARTIST PROFILE: Bettine Margalit Amir was a poet and painter who held many solo exhibitions and participated in a number of group exhibitions. Bettine graduated from the Bar-Ilan University (French literature and Philosophy) and School of Painting and Sculpture, Bat Yam (now Bat Yam Art Institute). - Sight (each artwork): 13 x 9 inches; frame: 25 x 32 inches
