King Karl X Gustav of Sweden (also known as Charles X Gustav) was involved in a notable skirmish with Polish Tatar forces marking a key moment in the battle where the Swedish king directly engaged with the Polish cavalry during the larger conflict against the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
