ARTIST PROFILE: Born in Bavana, Cuba, Mr. Chapelli began to paint in the mid-1970s. He came to the USA in 1961 and resided in New York City. A self-taught painter, he painted both modern and ethnic works, all inspired by the Cuban tradition.
