PAIR EARLY FRENCH ENGRAVINGS. Pair of framed historical prints, likely engravings. The print on the left is titled "LA BATAILLE DE MONTLHERY," ("The Battle of Montlhéry.") The text below further states that it was "Gravé par H. Le Clerc," meaning it was "Engraved by H. Le Clerc." The Battle of Montlhéry was a significant conflict in 1465 between Louis XI of France and a league of nobles. The right print is "LOUIS XI." and it seems to describe an event related to King Louis XI of France. Framed. Not examined out of frame. - Sight: 8.5 x 6.5 inches; frame: 17 x 14 inches.
