FRENCH CARRIAGE "CORNICHE"-STYLE CLOCK MANUFACTURED BY LEROY & fiLS 19th century Manufactured by the prestigious firm Le Roy & Fils, watchmakers to the French Navy and the British Royal Family. The dial indicates it was sold at their shop in the Palais Royal (specifically Galerie Montpensier 13 & 15). "Corniche" style brass case with five glass panels, including a top "glacé" window that reveals the cylinder escapement and balance wheel in motion. Original leather case. H: 6 in.
