ARTIST PROFILE: Yankel Ginzburg is a prominent American artist born in 1945 in the Soviet Union and educated in Israel, where he attended the Academy of Art from 1958 to 1965. Since moving to the United States, he has become a fixture of the Washington, D.C. art scene and gained international recognition for his contributions to the Photorealistic School of Art between 1970 and 2010. His artistic journey began with early solo exhibitions in the late 1960s at the Marc Chagall Museum in Israel and expanded globally to prestigious venues such as the Cairo Museum of Art, the Art Academy in Moscow, and various galleries across Hong Kong, Tokyo, and major American cities.
