JOSEPH G. COHEN American, 20th century Coastal Cottage Landscape, 1963 Oil on canvas Verso signed and dated. Landscape painting depicts a weathered thatched-roof cottage nestled amid dunes with a view toward the sea beyond. The loose handling of paint and emphasis on light and atmosphere suggest an Expressionist or Post-Impressionist influence. Framed. 18 x 24 inches; frame: 26 x 32 inches $200-300
