CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN CHENGHUA NIANZHI-STYLE SHALLOW BOWL. Cobalt blue underglaze painting on white porcelain body. Central medallion of stylized fish swimming in wave and nibbling on gingko leaf with a wide rim border of stylized waves and roundels with simple floral motifs. While the plate is 19th century, the base mark reads "Chenghua Nianzhi" or "Made in the Chenghua period" (1465-1487). - Diameter: 10.5 inches.
