Collection of Seven Southwestern and Native American artifacts, featuring a bowl signed by Hopi artist Marcia Ricky “Ant Woman” 20th century Collection featuring an array of seven traditional Southwestern and Native American artifacts, primarily originating from New Mexico and the surrounding regions. The grouping includes several examples of Pueblo pottery, characterized by distinctive geometric motifs, fine-line hatching, and earth-toned slips such as cream, terracotta, and black. Notable pieces include a large Hopi polychrome platter (signed by Marcia Fritz Ricky who is often better known by her hallmark and Hopi name, “Ant Woman” or “Flying Ant Woman”) and smaller olla jars with traditional stepped and spirit-line designs. Accompanying the ceramics is a hand-carved and brightly painted Kachina (Katsina) doll, a ceremonial figure representing spiritual beings in Hopi and Zuni cultures, and a finely coiled woven basket, likely of Apache or Tohono O’odham origin. $150-200
