ARTIST PROFILE: A professional artist from 1968 to 2012, Dorothy Lorraine “Dot” Woodall was a prominent figure in the Alexandria art community as a founding member of the Torpedo Factory Art Center, where she maintained a presence for three decades. Her diverse creative affiliations included memberships in the Northern Virginia Art League, the Sumi-e Society of America, and the Olympia Senior Center Poetry Group.
