NIGERIAN JANUS EKOI EJAGHAM WITH HORNS HEADDRESS, Mid 20th century. Striking Ejagham (Ekoi) Janus headdress with likely an antelope skin covered face and scroll swirls horns attached with pegs. The headdress topped with several curled "horns" representing elegant hairstyles and it is attached to a basket-like head cap to be worn on top of the head during ceremonies of the Ekoi Tribe, Nigeria. In fair condition. Signs of usage.
