ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN ICONS: BOGOLUBSKAYA-INSPIRED ICON WITH THE VIRGIN MARY AND SAINT NATALIA OF NICOMEDIA Two Eastern Orthodox icons, executed on wood panels. The larger weathered icon on the left follows the Bogolubskaya tradition, depicting the Virgin Mary in a standing posture of intercession. Beside it, the smaller icon depicts Saint Natalia of Nicomedia, identified by the Cyrillic inscriptions and her attribute of a martyr's cross.
