PAIR OF INDO-PERSIAN MINIATURE PAINTINGS WITH PERSIAN VERSE Pair of framed Indo-Persian miniature paintings, gouache heightened with gold on paper, each mounted within panels of nasta'liq verse. The first depicts a young woman seated on a terrace before a pavilion while the second depicts an elderly bearded sage or courtier. Each composition is framed above and below by panels of Persian verse in black nasta'liq script, the paper with gold-sprinkled decoration to the margins. They are individually framed.
