TWO JAPANESE KACHO-GA WOODCUT PRINTS OR UKIYO-E. 20th century. Focus on birds in a snowy landscape (kacho-ga). First depicts two cranes or geese in snowy, possibly icy, landscape. Second depicts group of three birds (likely cranes or similar wading birds) also in a snowy environment. Both prints fall under the bird-and-flower (kacho-ga) category, a genre of Japanese art that became very popular, especially during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Individually framed.
