PHOTOGRAPH OF THE VOYAGER AIRCRAFT OVER THE MOJAVE DESERT SIGNED BY CREW DICK RUTAN AND JEANA YEAGER, DECEMBER 1986. The Voyager crew piloted their experimental aircraft into aviation history by completing the first nonstop flight around the world on one load of fuel. The flight of 25,012 miles set records for distance flown without refueling and for endurance by pilots on such a flight. Yeager and Rutan were awarded the Presidential Citizen's Medal by President Ronald Reagan for their achievement. At take-off the Voyager had a wingspan of 110.8 feet and weighed 11,326 pounds.
